This is why we created not one, not two, but four chai (masala) blends! We’ve made sure to craft caffeinated and caffeine-free blends to suit all ages and tolerances.

What is Chai?
Chai or Masala chai as we like to refer to it at AVANTCHA, is a tea popular drink originating from India and uses bold black tea, aromatic spices like ginger, cardamom and cloves, and milk.
Over the year, chai became so popular and spread all around the world, trending in cafes in New York City, London and Berlin.
How to make a chai at home?
Using our pre-blended teas and herbals, it is very easy. We suggest making a masala chai concentrate that can keep in the fridge for up to 10 days.
Chai Concentrate Recipe
- Using any of the masala/chai blends above, add 10g of tea to 300ml of boiling water.
- Allow it to infuse for minimum 30 min.
- Strain the tea leaves. Add your sweetener of choice. We love adding honey or agave syrup. A touch of vanilla extract is divine
- Allow it to cool before transferring in the fridge
Use equal parts of chai concentrate and milk. Equally delicious hot or cold. Full fat milk will yield a creamy, indulging drink. For vegan friendly chai, we love oat milk.
