A rich coffee flavoured black tea blended with cracked coffee bean husks that produce an infusion as deep in colour as coffee, with aromas of toffee, coffee, cherries and toast. Uniquely, this tea is grown in Colombia at the country’s only speciality tea garden, at high altitude on the slopes of the Andean mountain range. An initial astringency and taste of coffee gives way to a chocolate-sweet flavour and richly roasted quality with notes of stone fruits – particularly sour cherries. This tea is as ideal for coffee drinkers (it reminds us of the complex characters of single origin coffee) as it is for lovers of dark oolongs or black tea.
